Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

The number of houses to be built is both unrealistic for the areas intended. There is no concrete plans to improve the present poor/future transport infrastructure. Traffic flows at present are too high affecting air quality in Stockton heath and all southern traffic routes. This will exacerbate the present situation. 1000 acres of green belt will be lost in the south which is intolerable will destroy the landscape and character of our villages. Presumably the new home owners will be commuting to Manchester /Liverpool to work not adding to the town centre regeneration other than filling seats in the numerous new eating facilities/restaurants mushrooming in town centre/local Southern villages. Stockton Heath is not a traditional village but a supplier of unsightly restaurants and takeaways. No to the plan fullstop.
