The plans lack details and there is no opportunity to consult with planners. The development will produce an increased level of surface water. With regular flooding on Stockton Lane currently this will increase the amount of flooding and disruption caused. Access will be predominantly over a single track canal bridge and under another single track bridge. As such this does not provide adequate access for an already over burdened road infrastructure. Stockton lane does not support the anticipated level of road traffic given the large current use by cyclists and walkers. Latest government guidelines state the development of brownfield sites which is not the case in this instance.
