the plan is contradictory and unsound, e.g. objective W2 to maintain the permanence of the Green Belt in the long term. The SE Warrington urban extension is destroying the existing green belt by the proximity as well as direct replacement of the fragile green belt which is narrowing day by day. Also for objectives W5 and W6 which are destroying the countryside and increasing damage to the environment by increasing carbon emissions. the proposals are disproportionate and brownfield and industrial sites should be exploited on the north of warrington rather than the destruction of south warrington farming and countryside.
