Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

There has been a lack of open dialogue and real engagement with local people in developing these plans. Warrington is unable to support these developments due to poor travel infrastructure and roads. I don?t trust that investment will be made in improving public transport after years of cuts or that shops and local amenities will be built as well as houses or that developments will be built sensitively to the character of the local area. This will fundamentally change south Warrington from a green and pleasant area into a sprawling soulless housing development so that the indebted local council can claim more council tax.

Modification if applicable

Proper publicised engagement with local Residents to develop the plan together. Investment should be first put into infrastructure, local amenities and then houses to follow if at all.
