Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

The Local Plan is not sound
The development proposals would have a catastrophic impact on Warrington's environment, it directly contradicts the Councils own Climate Emergency Plan. There will be a massive loss of biodiversity due to building on greenbelt. The character of villages and landscape will be destroyed as the green spaces that separate them are built on. Warrington already has poor air quality due to volume of cars and freight on the roads, the expansion of logistics centres along the motorway corridor will exacerbate this further. The plan will lead to an increase reliance on road network this will add to the chronic congestion as the infrastructure is not fit for purpose and alternatives such as rail, light rail, cycling and walking have not been given priority

Modification if applicable

The Council need to review the entire document in light of the global climate emergency and produce a green forward thinking plan
