The type of housing described is not related to the housing needs of Warrington, which needs affordable housing in areas with good public transport links for work. This is not the case in South Warrington and the plan does not address this. Therefore losing greenbelt for development that is not designed for the needs of the existing population of Warrington is environmental vandalism. We are facing climate catastrophe and should not dig up and concrete large areas without good reason.
