Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

The plan is unsound because it has no regard to the huge increase in traffic that will be the result of the new houses and the six56 logistics centre. The traffic in and around Warrington is already too high for the existing road infrastructure. The plan does not deal with the need for new roads (and bridges) to allow people to get to work/shop etc. The plan should focus on reducing, not increasing, the number of vehicles on our roads. Whenever there is any problem on the existing motorways, traffic is diverted through Warrington and the town in gridlocked. This will become a regular occurrence. In the month during the world is trying to find ways to reduce greenhouse emitting gases at COP26, Warrington should listen to the advice and find a ways of reducing the number of journeys that will be needed in our area. It is essential that Warrington finds a way of meeting its objectives without the massive harm to the environment that this plan will create.

Modification if applicable

No six56 logistics centre, develop brownfield sites in the town centre.
