Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

Unacceptable amount of greenbelt to be sacrificed, especially in south Warrington. So reckless to trash these green spaces (forever taking away the multitude of benefits these areas provide, green lungs, mental wellbeing, and pushing green areas further away from current Residents homes), before fully exhausting re-use of available brownfield sites. Plans for infrastructure are massively lacking in details, look like a bunch of good-to-haves with no substance or guarantee of coming to fruition. Traffic and pollution levels on Knutsford Road are already bad, we don't need any more vehicles on this road.

Modification if applicable

Start again with a plan fit for purpose that does not destroy greenbelt land and with current thinking for climate action, pollution, and peoples well being. Warrington already has poor road infrastructure (pinch points, pollution, river crossings). Sort this out first, then plan further infrastructure changes as a primary action for the local plan. Avoid touching greenbelt so that your children/grandchildren etc will be happy with your legacy.
