Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

Green belt should be left green. It should not be divided into development and non-development green belt. Nature space and networks rely on greenbelt being allowed to evolve naturally with sympathetic land management. Placing development on green belt results in disconnection, pollution and biodiversity loss, which is part of the global environmental crisis.

Modification if applicable

The council should openly commit to becoming a green borough and promote biodiversity and nature connection and recovery, including the benefits to human existence arising from this, rather than allocating green space to be replaced by housing.
