UPSVLP 2559
The plan is unsound because:
- It proposes building on significant areas of greenbelt, brownfield sites should be considered first, e.g. Fiddler's Ferry
- The number of additional dwellings proposed are not sustainable within this area - e.g. roads, schools, sports centres and there are no or minimal proposals for these, the only thing that would be guaranteed to be built is all the additional housing.
- Proposed road improvements are insignificant - it will be impossible to exit the area at peak times - e.g. morning rush hour, this is already difficult enough.
- Air quality not considered.
- Green Belt land is precious and should be treated as such - it can never be replaced once lost. We cannot continue to expand into it forever, this has to stop.
I'm not a planning expert, I presume the planners have made sure their plans are legally compliant
