I believe the plans relatinhg to the South East Urban Extension are unsound because of the local facilities (doctors and dentists) that will be overburdened and the traffic increases on already overburdened roads and the pollution caused by increasing levels of traffic.

1. Local facilities - it is already virtually impossible to get an NHS dentist, I myself have had to be put on a private list just to get treatment. Doctors are also overburdened with patients and I have seen nothing in the plan to increase the capacity of either profession.

2. Traffic - anyone travelling the roads of South Warrington during busy periods cannot fail to be dismayed by the sheer volume of cars. The restrictions of the one-lane road at Lumb Brook Bridge should have been sorted out long ago (before the adjacent houses were allowed to be built) and queues can only get worse as local commuters try to get to work and school.

3. Pollution is already a problem as signs have had to be installed asking drivers to turn off their engines when ships are passing through the Ship Canal bridges. Again, the increases in cars can only make this worse that electric cars will only partially reduce in the short term.

In summary, the infrastructure in South Warrington is just not being increased in line with planned population growth.
