1 I am not sure of the legality of the plan so therefore cannot say it is Legal..
2 The plan is not sound because after carefully reading and studying the proposals I still have grave concerns that the proposals DO NOT show that adequate infra-structure is provided to support and adequately service the proposed developments. No further housing or business unit construction should take place until there is a comprehensive, approved, properly funded and programmed plan, showing the provisions of road and transport, schools, medical centres and essential retail facilities.
3 You say you have listened to the Residents of Warrington in preparing this revised plan but clearly you have not taken the overwhelming response to the lack of adequate infra-structure to support both the original plan and the new proposed plan.
With particular regards to south Warrington area of the proposals it is considered that you already have adequate areas of what was green belt that already has development approval from the "'New Town' era.. The revised proposal plan states that this is not expected to provide new roads, only to utilise existing. As an example Stretton Road is already over used by the recent housing developments and can only become even more busy and dangerous. Stockton Heath is already a nightmare with the amount of through traffic and will only get worse with any further development. The green belt has already been impacted with new development and once lost gone forever. There are a significant number of brown field sites in Warrington that could and should have been used to save what is left of our green belt.
