An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School Meals Service for the position of Area Account Manager. Area Account Managers manage a cluster of school meals accounts within Warrington and have overall responsibility for the productivity and staff management within each kitchen.

The role

This is a busy and demanding role which sits within the School Meals Head Office team. This role involves taking responsibility for a lead area within the Service, for example, Health and Safety, Recruitment or Absence Management. The objective is to provide a high-quality catering service which meets the needs of the schools and ensures that catering standards are achieved and maintained which support the raising of standards of achievement, attainment, and overall wellbeing of Warrington’s school pupils.

What's needed?

Experience of working in a School Meals Service at a supervisory level is required and a appropriate professional catering qualification together with a sound knowledge and understanding of relevant statutory legislation applicable to the School Meals service.
