An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Care Worker to assist the Telecare & Sensory service. Working with a team of experienced Community Care Workers, your role will be predominately assessing and providing innovative telecare solutions to promote the independence and wellbeing of vulnerable people and their carers in the community. The post holder will also gain experience in providing functional assessments to identify needs and provide advice, equipment and/or property adaptations to enable people to stay independent and safe in their own homes.

The role

The work is fast, varied and challenging and as a result you will acquire a diversity of knowledge and practical skills. Experience of working with children, adults or older people with a disability within the social care sector will be an advantage in this role.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and must be flexible, reliable and committed to personal and service development.
