The role

We are seeking to recruit a motivated Youth Justice Services Education, Training & Employment Worker to join our dedicated team on a 12 month fixed term contract (to cover maternity leave) working 30 hours per week.

The post will involve working in the Warrington area, supporting Children, Young People and Families to access and maintain ETE placements that meet their individual learning needs.

The role will involve the worker liaising with placement providers and any agencies that are involved with the child to gain an understanding of need and share information with our case managers & specialist staff. Accurate recording, assessment, planning and evaluation are an integral part of the role.

What's needed?

The nature of this work can be very challenging you will therefore need to be a confident practitioner. You must have experience of working with children and have a commitment to helping them make positive changes in their lives.

Experience of working within the criminal justice system would be an advantage alongside being able to work flexible hours.

The post holder will be required to be on an occasional duty court and referral order panel rota, which would involve working across the service area that we cover including Warrington, Halton, Cheshire East and Cheshire West. Training will be provided to support with this role.
