About us

We are looking for an enthusiastic caretaker/handyman and you will be working in the Community and Wellbeing Services based in Fearnhead Cross Community and Youth Centre. You will be reporting to the Estates and Premises Manager and working alongside a small and friendly in our community centres throughout Warrington.

The role

The role is of a caretaker handyman which will consist of doing various maintenance jobs throughout our centres as directed by the Estates Manager. The role is varied and everyday will differ as you respond to the needs of the services. You will be working alongside a friendly staff team as well as come into contact with centres users and the community on a daily basis. Generally the work will be daytime working, Monday - Friday, hours to be negotiated with the Estates Manager to suit the needs of the service with occasional evening and weekend work as required. Occasional cleaning may be required.

What's needed?

The role will suit somebody who is hands on and experienced in general maintenance and handyman work and we are looking for somebody who will be a great team worker but also work well on their own initiative.
