Maintenance Officer - St Stephen's Catholic Primary School
The Governors at St. Stephen’s are seeking to appoint a reliable and self-motivated Maintenance Officer to join our friendly and hard-working school team.
We are seeking applications from individuals who can:
- Take responsibility for effective site management
- Provide a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors
- Demonstrate proven practical experience and adherence to H&S requirements
- Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, governors, parents & contractors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date written & electronic records
- Uphold and promote the Catholic ethos of the school

25 hours per week, Mon-Fri, all year round . Working hours: 13.00-6.00pm. Flexibility around hours during the school holidays by agreement. Occasional additional hours to support after-school/weekend activities.
Annual leave of 25 days per year (to be taken during school closure periods)
The post is a key-holder position with a requirement to be the first point of contact in the event of an out-of-hours alarm call
