Our Specialist Transport Service provides travel solutions for the residents of Warrington and has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to become part of our Specialist Transport Team as an Operations Assistant.

The role

As an Operations Assistant you will have an incredibly varied role, supporting adults and young people with specialist transport requirements with travel from home to school or home to day centre and return.  You will be working closely with colleagues in creating and delivering services with the goal of optimising routes to provide best value.

What's needed?

The successful candidate will be a committed team player who is organised and dedicated to providing the highest standards of customer service.  Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively and confidently with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders is essential.  The successful candidate will be IT proficient with the ability to be able to prioritise workloads and be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

Previous experience of working within a local authority transport service is desirable but not essential.
