The role

We are recruiting for a qualified social worker to join our new Care Experienced Team as our Senior Practitioner.  This is an exciting opportunity to support with the development of the service we offer to our care experienced young people in Warrington, aged between 16 and 25 years.  We are looking for someone with passion and creativity to support the Team Manager to lead the team, supervise personal advisors whilst holding a small case load of young people in care.

The role is 37 hours a week. You will be based in Central Warrington. 


What's needed?

You will need a Social Work Degree or Equivalent in Social Work

Substantial experience of working with children and their families in a statutory social care setting.

Involvement in the management and supervision of staff or students.

Knowledge of care leaver legislation and the rights of care leavers.

Registration with Social Work England
