Part Time Teaching Assistant Lv3 - St Albans Catholic Primary - 11 Hours Fixed Term 1 Year

The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team.

The Post details: to provide additional support to enable the child to access the curriculum more easily. The person appointed will:

• Have experience of working with children and it would be desirable to have knowledge of phonics teaching
• Have experience of implementing interventions and strategies to overcome barriers to learning in order to speed up academic progress
• Be a team player
• Have a sensitive but enthusiastic approach
• Hold GCSEs or equivalent qualification in at least English and Maths
• NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience

Key Information

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience

Salary: Grade 5 - (£6,317 - £6,990 actual salary)

Contract Type and hours : 11 hours, term time only, to support in KS/1 classes Thursday and Friday 8.30 am to 15.00 on a Fixed term contract for 12 months.
