Development uses existing recreation site for housing development - contradicts Government initiative to increase health and wellbeing. No evidence to support need for no. of properties proposed in this area. Demand is for affordable housing with good transport links - plan proposes mainly high cost properties in South Warrington. Green Belt should not be released when brownfield land is available. No plans for additional infrastructure to support development - increased congestion. Increased traffic will also have a negative impact on air quality and increase noise pollution.
