Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

The housing plan as a whole is undeliverable and unrealistic. A cynical attempt to increase council funding from higher residency without the infrastructure requirements to provide a safe, pleasant and harmonious environment. There are no plans to improve road networks and in particular the A49 road, links and spur. No indications on how to manage the extra burdens that will be placed on the town. No detail at all as to how this will supposedly ?regenerate? Warrington. No clear details on how we will cope with the extra schooling, doctors and associated infrastructure requirements needed to fulfil the plans objectives. Most importantly, this plan includes building on green belt just at a time when we are meant to be revisiting our environmental responsibilities and limiting the impact we have on our natural surroundings. Air quality, congestion will all be far worse under this plan.
New housing alone will not generate the economic growth this plan eludes too. Totally and completely unrealistic.

Modification if applicable

Reduce the ambitions of the plan and reduce the number residences looking to be developed. Stick to brownfield sites only for development.
Ensure there is adequate improvements to infrastructure across all elements of the plan from road networks, to doctors, to schools. Liaise closely with other boroughs such as Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire to ensure there are synergy?s in any growth plan and that we don?t simply look to deliver a parochial approach that is misguided and misinformed.
