Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

The plan proposes utilizing a large quantity of greenbelt land against the wishes of the Residents .The plan fails to propose required services such as commiting to additional recycling facilities and with insufficient detail or thought as to how transporation will cope both with the additional housing and also a huge industrial development on greenbelt land. The plan does not justify the growth projections or the need for the volume of housing or employment land.

The employment land offers few if any jobs to local people and fails to offer high wage/skilled jobs such as those at the Daresbury Science Park - but rather offer logistics increasing the number of trucks on local roads and adding air pollution to the Warrington environment.

The plan does not consider the fact that housing targets are under review (yet again) by central government and rather than focusing on town center redevelopment which could benefit from lower cabon apartment dwellings seems determined to build on green belt in favor of the car in an "urban extension" which is far from the town center and continues to push people out of town.

Modification if applicable

Focus housing on brownfield sites and reduce the quantity of housing proposed. No building on greenbelt. Consider the air and local environment.
