Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

You are building on Green Belt land which the Government has now said can only be done in exception circumstances. These are NOT exceptional circumstances. WBC have lots of brown field land still to build on including the old Warrington rugby ground, Mr Smiths, Fiddlers Ferry to name a few. The land at Thelwall Heys is next to the Bridewater Canal and Penine Walkway both areas of natural beauty and were used considerably when it was lockdown and people wanted to get into the countryside. You are destroying hedges and wildlife and polluting more of the area, Warrington is already in the top 5 towns for most polluted, this will only increase the situation. The Infrastructure is also not there, if you access it from either cliff lane or the main stockport road, you would need to widen roads as they are all single track and possibly go through the Penine walkway. Trying to access to main A50 would be worse as there will be more people trying to get out onto the main road.

Modification if applicable

Reduce the amount of green belt land you are going to build on in South Warrington, people who live here, do so as it the most green area in Warrington and Thelwall Heys is semi-rural where you want to make it a housing estate.
