Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

Whilst it is an improvement on the plan modified in 2019 it lacks some logic. The houses proposed in the green belt will be very expensive, far beyond the reach of the average worker who is likely to be
employed at any new business which comes to the town. The houses will, as ever, be occupied by the wealthy who, by and large, use theses domiciles as a dormitory for Manchester Liverpool and Chester. Most have little or no interest in the furtherance of Warrington as town and, apart from council tax, will not add to the wealth of the town.
The number of houses proposed is also probably far in excess of what is needed and was based on immigration figures pre Brexit in 2014. We have moved on since then and the number required is probably half of what was estimated then. I don't think that it is right that Green Belt land should be sacrificed on this very flawed basis .

Modification if applicable

If you halved the number of proposed dwellings you might be closer to the number actually required. The original justification for the number proposed was based on estimates, no more, of the what would be required pre Brexit.
