Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

The Government has recently changed its view on building on green belt land and has now decided to look at developing brown field sites in the first instance. WBC do not seem to have taken this change into consideration in its plans.

Modification if applicable

There are a number of issues that cause concern.
Lack of detail in the planning which affects the future investment in Grappenhall Village Lawn Tennis Club which is on Stockton Lane one of the sites detailed in your plans.
How any development will affect the traffic and road access to the club. One end of Stockton Lane is accessed over a narrow bridge over the Bridgewater canal. The other end of Stockton lane is accessed be going under a narrow bridge under the same canal.
How will the construction traffic access the site and how will that affect our members.
Will we still be able to use the clubs facilities during the construction?
GVLTC has recently invested heavily in the drainage situation which currently seems to be at full capacity. What will happen to the surface water from any such development. There is no mention in the plans.
