UPSVLP 2373
The Warrington Plan fails to honour its decision to protect Greenbelt it created in the previous plan. Specifically, it fails to recognise the importance of Thelwall Heys as one of the few examples of of a domestic property designed by Alfred Waterhouse in its original setting that happens to be classed as hiigh quality farmland. The entire surrounding area has Special Landscape Character and to build on it, along with factors like increased congestion caused by lack of access means that WBC's earlier decision to preserve it was the correct one. So, why has the plan changed when it is so obviously wrong? Why has Warrington done a stupid about-face?
Return return Thelwall Heys and surrounding area to Green Belt status having Special landscape Character as granted by WBC in c.2004.
