Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

Does not take into consideration brownfield sites being used for development and WBC's commitment t- protect greenfield site - no valid justification put forward therefore not legally compliant.
Does not support environmental protection/reduction of pollution (air pollution and air quality) and COP26 environmental commitments, including influencing factors on local population health.
Does not support town centre regeneration and draws Council money away from town centre, and does not generate income for local area in any way, as it doesn't offer local jobs and income into the local area.
Does not take into account community safety and infrastructure for south Warrington and current poor road networks/traffic management and difficulties with transport movement, including large lorries going through village road networks which are not designed for this type of traffic.
Does not take into account protection of local characteristics of villages on the outskirts of the city which attracts people to live in the neighbourhood.

Modification if applicable

Protection of the green belt land around our town centre - which the Council have been so vocal to promote for improved health and wellbeing in the town.
Reconsideration of use of multiple brownfield sites across the town centre for regeneration and to ensure Council money is prioritised in regeneration for those areas which are less appealing, and therefore able to sustain more affordable housing for the majority of the population living in Warrington (EQUITABLE access) rather than for the minority of the population, which is what the current plan suggests.
